Hi this is Ang Jol, and I am the creator of Ang Jol Arts. My paintings are mostly a series of abstract paintings that can incorporate anything from people, movie characters, animals, and many other abstract shapes. Although the biggest reoccurring element in my paintings are my signature footprints.
I have always loved drawing and had a craving for making art, but I initially decided to use my footprints in paintings because I had not really ever seen it done before. I really love how natural and raw it looks and how it connects me personally to my artwork. I am literally putting my foot in these paintings, (like the saying goes).
I remember when I was younger, in the grocery store with my mom, and I used to stare at a wine bottle that had distinctive footprints on it. For whatever reason it stood out to me. So, there is probably some kind of subconscious connection there as well. I hope others can find a way to connect and see the beauty within my artwork as well.
